Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield – the Hollywood couple that eight out of ten cats would love to go for a pint with – have split after four years, new reports are insisting.
According to People magazine, the pair have been broken up for the last few months, but they just didn't want to make a big song and dance about it.
"There was no drama, they've been apart while working. They still care about each other," an insider tells the mag.
"They still have love for one another. They are on good terms with each other and remain close."
The couple were thought to have split earlier this year, but were then spotted together back in May, prompting speculation that they'd found a way to make their busy schedules work.
But Emma refused to be drawn on the rumours when she spoke to the Wall Street Journal in June, telling the interviewer that she "never talks about this stuff… because it's all so speculative and baseless.
She continued: "Once you start responding – once you're like, 'No, that's not true' – then they're like, 'Well, if we push enough, we'll get a comment, so let's see what else we can make up."
"I understand the interest in it completely, because I've had it, too. But it's so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don't talk about it," Emma added.
Ah maaaan. Still, sounds a lot like Emma Stone's back on the market, if that does anything for you…
