Ferne McCann has had a tough few weeks since it was revealed her former boyfriend Arthur Collins was linked to an acid attack at a London nightclub. And just days after the news broke, she then confirmed she was pregnant with Arthur's child.

And understandbly, Ferne chose to deal with her ordeal in private, taking time off work and social media.

But today she made an extremely emotional return to This Morning to exclusively discuss everything with Phillip and Holly.

And although they were unable to talk about Arthur's situation for 'legal reasons', Ferne was more than happy to talk about her pregnancy and described it as a 'blessing'.

"It has been such a stressful and surreal situation to be in but I'm actually feeling good and positive because I'm pregnant. It's given me strength and hope to be able to deal with it."

"Until you have that first scan you still don't believe it. That first scan was amazing, seeing it with my own eyes I was like this is really happening. I'm so exciting, this is such a blessing. It was a magical moment."

And as well as having to deal with everything else, Ferne confessed that she's been battling with 'all of the symptoms'.

"I don't even know why it's called morning sickness because I've been sick morning, noon and night. I've had all of the symptoms. Nausea, headaches, sickness and I'm coming out of that stage now."

Ferne then visably broke down on the sofa when Phil asked her how she's has dealt with it all: "Surrounding yourself with family and friend, I've got such a strong group around me, my mum and their friends have been amazing. This isn't how I imagined my first pregnancy to be and my main concern is my baby.

"I think being in the public eye was a concern for me, are they going to judge me and are they going to have an opinion which their entitled to. The public have been so amazing and so supportive and that is what has got me through. I've had the time to read everything on Instagram. It's been so touching and so humbling. I'm so grateful, everyone's words. From single mothers to single fathers to people who have never even seen me on TV."

And as Holly quickly stopped the interview to give her a big cuddle, Phil quickly changed the subject and asked her if she wants to find out the sex of her baby.

"I'm not sure. 70% of me wants to find out but I just don't know. It's such a lovely surprise and we don't get many of them in life.

"I love a challenge, as you know but this is going to be my biggest one yet."

We love you so much, Ferne!
