Cheryl having her baby was basically the most exciting news of 2017.
We'd been waiting so bloody long for it, and it the announcement was ADORABLE.
Liam posted a (frightfully edgy) pic to Instagram with the caption: "My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless…wow!
"I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favorite memory I have so far.
"We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed."
And after weeks of anticipation, the baby name has reportedly been revealed – it’s Bear!
And now Liam has taken to Twitter for the first time since the big reveal of the name, replying to a tweet that Bear Grylls sent him.
Bear wrote on Twitter: “Great choice! Love & blessings to you guys as you start on the greatest adventure @CherylOfficial @LiamPayne”.
And Liam replied: “Thanks man hope he grows up with an ounce of your courage! You’re a boss”.
Speaking about the decision behind the name, a source told The Sun: “Cheryl and Liam wanted to get to know their baby before deciding on a name.
“They didn’t have the name Bear before the birth.
“But they’d been thinking of a name since meeting him and they just felt it suited him."
