In news we genuinely did not expect to see on our Tuesday night scroll through Instagram, Geordie Shore's Gary Beadle has announced he and girlfriend Emma McVey are excpecting their first child together.
And it's now been reported that Gaz has quit Geordie Shore to focus on dad life, with a source telling The Sun: “Gary is leaving Geordie Shore this year.
“He's taking fatherhood really seriously, being a dad is all he's ever wanted and he wants to spend all his time with Emma and their baby.”
But producers are reportedly keen to get him back to be a guest star in series 16, with the source saying: "They have offered him the opportunity to make guest appearances in series 16 - who knows whether he will or not - but producers are frantically trying to keep him on the show somehow."
Gaz announced the news last night on Instagram, writing: "SO SO SO excited to eventually be able to tell you all this... I AM GOING TO BE A DAD... WE ARE HAVING A BABY... I love kids and literally can't wait for this new adventure... argghhhh literally no words SOOOO HAPPY!!! @emma_jane1392"
He then followed the announcement up with an adorbz snap of the scan and some teeny, tiny baby shoes.
Oh, and a Dior dummy 'cos ya know, he's probably made a fair few after his 2041414141 years on Geordie Shore.
