Keeping up with Gaz Beadle’s love life is like trying to work out the answer to an incredibly complicated riddle.
But earlier this week he hit the headlines when it was rumoured the Geordie Shore star had rekindled his romance with Ex On The Beach cast member Lillie Lexie Greg.
And now, Lillie has opened up about what exactly is going on between her and clubbing loving Lothario Gaz.
She told Mirror Online: "He’s been in touch. We will always care about each other."
However, it seems things aren’t moving quickly as the pair struggle to confront the subject of Lillie’s ex, Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bear, who Lillie had an emotional reunion with in the Big Brother house.
She said: "At the moment, we have just been speaking as friends. To be honest, the current subject ‘Bear’ is awkward.
"I don’t think Gary likes to think about it because he always wanted to believe that we were meant to be together forever. So Bear is not something we’ve talked about."
But with time to resolve their issues and Lillie understanding the reason Gaz split from her previously, there is still hope for the former couple.
She explained: "Gary broke up with me because he was put in a situation where he was forced to choose between me and Geordie Shore. If he had chosen me, he would have had to leave the show that day.
"It was a daunting decision for him. He said it was the hardest decision of his life because that show is all he knows. It’s his bread and butter."
And, while she may not be ready to jump back into a relationship with Gaz right now, it seems there may be a chance in the future.
Lillie concluded: "Well, right now it’s not an option because my head is all over the place. But we will always be there for each other and care for one another."
