We’re still in shock over the FIVE newbies filming the next series of Geordie Shore, but even more surprising is that one of the new girls is a secret super fan who has begged cast members for retweets and follows on Twitter over the years.

Cringeeeee.

Latest girl to join the show Eve Shannon once even travelled to an airport to try and catch a glimpse of one of the cast.

All the way back in 2011, series one star Greg Lake (remember him?) tweeted: "Weird being at the airport and not actually going anywhere!? Feel like I need to jump on a plane sumwhere hottttt!"

Eve, who is from Houghton-le-Spring, near Sunderland, responded by tweeting: "On my way to the airport, hoping @GregGShore is still there :)<3.”

But alas, it was a wasted journey, as she later wrote: "Going all the way to the airport, realising @GregGShore isn't there, but greggs is, getting a doughnut and back home... wooo-.-"

Still, at least she had a Greggs. Silver linings and all that.

Also in 2011, she tweeted Charlotte Crosby, writing: "@CharlotteGShore your absolutely amazing, are you at hau5 tonight please retweet me? Hope you are! :)<3"

Eve tweeted James Tindale asking him for a retweet after meeting him in a shopping centre.

“@JamesGShore still love how I met you in the metro centre the other week your so lovely! I'd love it if you would re-tweet me, please?:)<3x," she wrote.

And she once sent a tweet fan-girling over Sophie Kasaei, who she is now living with in the Geordie Shore house.

Eve tweeted: “Can't wait to watch @SophieGShore #GTODT :)”

She also tweeted current housemate Gaz Beadle telling him he is "so perfect".

The lass has even claimed to have watched every single episode of the reality show, and once won the title of ‘Most likely to end up on Geordie Shore’ during her school leavers assembly.

We suppose this is proof that dreams can come true! LOL.
