Stephanie Davis has had far from an idyllic eating-pies-and-swanning-around-Mothercare pregnancy.

Bless her, she’s been accused of faking the whole thing, had to put up with insults from Jeremy McConnnell and now she’s revealed that she suffered a terrifying health scare.

The CBB star says she was admitted to hospital after suffering excruciating pain.

"I didn’t know if I was going to lose the baby or if he was okay," she told OK! Magazine.

"I was tested for piles but that came back negative. They think it might be colitis, so I’m having more tests and a colonoscopy done soon. Hopefully that will give me some more clues."

Poor Steph experienced vomiting, dizziness and rectal bleeding before her mum rushed her to hospital to get checked out.

She said: "The hospital put me on a painkiller drip and the bleeding eventually stopped, but I had to stay in hospital for six days because my blood pressure was low, so they wanted to keep an eye on the baby."

This isn’t the first time Steph has had to take an emergency trip to hospital. Back in August, the mum-to-be had to be seen by docs after she thought she was having contractions.

She said: "I’ve been much more careful and trying to stay as stress-free as possible. But as soon as I found out my son was okay I felt much better. We know for sure he’s a true fighter now!"

Thankfully, Steph is ready to pop at any moment and her due date is fast approaching.

Yesterday, the star posted this adorbs pic of her bump and a new baby-grow.

N’awwww.
