This year's X Factor was an emotional rollercoaster and literally jam-packed full of dramz.

In years to come we'll look back on the series with fond memories and remember the great (alleged) porking-on-the-stairs scandal of 2016 and the year that brought us Honey G.

HashtagNeverForget.

We'll also, of course, remember Matt Terry who absolutely stole the show in the final and completely nailed the Winner's Single.

And what a Winner's Single it is. Written by absolute lyrical genius, Ed Sheeran, the song When Christmas Comes Around is bit of a tuuuuune.

And Matt has vowed to thank Ed for this fab song in a way we think he will truly appreciate.

He's promised to take him to Nando's.

Speaking on the Big Top 40 radio show, Matt gushed about Ed and wanted to thank him for the amazing song.

He told show hosts Marvin Humes and Kat Shoob: "I haven't met Ed yet, but I've tweeted him."

He then went on to leave a message for Ed, promising to properly thank him: "Ed, man, I love you – thank you so much. I'm going to buy you a Nando's, I'll buy you a beer. Whatever you want!"

Sounds pretty bloody ideal if you ask us.

And we know for a fact Ed loves a bit of Nando's. Remember this?

(Warning: some rude words and bizarre chicken references included.)

In other X Factor related news, have you seen the Honey G is releasing a music video?

Well, luckily, the North Weezy rap sensation has released a sneak peak of her swanky new video. Lots of pizazz and swag by the looks of things.
