Harry Styles' new album, that will apparently be here VERY SOON, apparently sounds just like David Bowie and Queen. How exciting.
Big industry website HITS Daily Double has reported that there is a 'huge buzz' around the album (well, duh) within the industry and that Harry has apparently drawn sounds of '70's British rock' and used them as inspiration for his solo sound.
The site says: "In marked contrast to One Direction’s production by committee, Styles has crafted a set that recalls the regal high-water mark of ’70s British rock, Bowie and Queen in particular.
"The lead single, which could come out as soon as late April or early May, sounds like it would be a hit in any decade."
The site also reveals that Harry is working with producer Jeff Bhasker – who was the mastermind behind Uptown Funk AND has worked alongside Kanye West and The Rolling Stones.
No biggie.
We've been collectively losing our shit ever since we first got wind of the whole Harry Style's solo malarkey and we reckon it's gonna be worth the wait.
Everyone and their nan has been gossiping about Harry's solo material recently including Columbia Records CEO Rob Stringer.
He revealed last month: "We’re close and we’re very excited. We have a record we’re incredibly excited about and it’s not far away from being ready. We obviously want everything to be beautifully done, because we think he’s here to stay. Harry has stepped up with the vision of someone who’s authentic.”
Good things come to those who wait guys.
We were also given a HUGE HINT at what solo Hazza is going to look like because what Harry Styles wears is almost as important as what comes out of his glorious mouth. He didn't win a British Fashion Award in 2013 for no reason folks.
Alongside a shot of multiple coloured suits, tailor Edward (who has been working with Harry ahead of his comeback) wrote: "One lucky young man is going to collect a rainbow of suits today. Perhaps too bright and vibrant for some but a fun addition to a spring wardrobe. He may we'll be wearing them on stage. What a lucky chap. Enjoy."
One of those SNAZZY suits could be coming to a town near you veeeeeeery soon.
