Remember when we had to lace ourselves into our corsets and make sure our skirts covered our ankles? Remember when we had to stuff our bustles with extra material so it looked like we had a butt? Remember when we had to wear that corset all day, until our internal organs actually hurt?
No. Of course you don’t, because that’s all from 100 years ago. At least, it was until the Kardashian sisters started bringing waist-training back as a thing.
This week, it’s 18-year-old Kylie Jenner’s turn to tell us just how great her waist trainer is at squishing her teeny tiny stomach into an even teenier, tinier space.
“Just about to head out for a morning walk before my interviews and I love a little extra help,” she captioned this Instagram post.
“Thank you @premadonna87 and @waistgangsociety for my waist trainer I'm officially obsessed after seeing how bomb my sisters look. It also helps with my posture :)”
If ‘helps with my posture’ means ‘I’m physically unable to ralph down a whole tube of Jaffa Cakes without my liver acheing’, yeah, we get that.
But honestly. HONESTLY. Come on, woman – you’re so slender as it is, we don’t even know how this waist trainer would do anything but hinder your life.
