We mourned the loss of Charlotte Crosby from our screens on Geordie Shore a long time ago, but when it was recently reported that Holly Hagan also wouldn’t be returning, we wondered what the hell they’d do to keep the show going.

In case you aren’t fully up to speed, Chantelle Connelly is also not returning for the latest series of the MTV show, which began filming over the weekend.

So with three girls down, Geordie Shore could well have been in CRISIS behind the scenes.

Until now?

The show has recruited not one, not two, but THREE new girls to head down the ‘toon, and you might even know one of them already, pet.

Sarah Goodhart is an ex of Marty McKenna’s (watch out, Chloe Ferry), and previously appeared on Ex On The Beach.

Sarah is also good mates with former star of the show, Vicky Pattison. We wonder if Vic’s had a little word in her ear about what to expect?

Radgie pals Zahida Allen and a girl currently only known as Abbey have also joined the cast. How mysterious…

As news of the new trio of Geordie lasses broke, it’s fair to say one former cast member was not impressed at all.

Original star Holly took to Twitter to suggest the show won’t ever be like the good ol’ days.

“RIP to the Gshore we once knew. So glad I was there from day one. Never be the same @Charlottegshore,” Holly wrote next to a broken-heart emoji.

Thankfully, Gaz Beadle, Nathan Henry, Aaron Chalmers, Marty McKenna, Sophie Kasaei, Marnie Simpson and Chloe Ferry were all spotted filming over the weekend.

BUT, Scotty T was nowhere to be seen, which suggests suspicions he’ll be absent for at least part of series 14 are correct. SOB.

No pressure, girls, but you’ve got a lot to live up to!
