We at heat are Idris Elba megafans and have basically been in love with him since the first time we saw him in Luther (possibly before).
So imagine our excitement when he hinted a new series could be on the horizon. Any excuse to have him on our screens is good with us, TBH.
Someone called Clare (thanks Clare) tweeted: "@idriselba what's the chance of a new series of Luther ?" and he replied: "Big chance. Watch this space."
AHHHHHH.
We haven't been this happy since we found out he'd gone on some sort of topless and sweaty Instagram bonanza.
He basically posted a whole load of pics of himself working out at the gym, captioning them things like: "Cutting weight, two days before first fight, mind in the right place. Fear NO guy."
We still haven't worked out quite what that means, but we DO NOT CARE.

We assigned ourselves the veeeery creepy task of going through his Instagram to uncover as many as possible.
