This year has been f*cking ridiculous for a number of reasons – Brexit, Donald Trump, Bake Off disasters etc etc – but The X Factor has been a shining light in a 2016 of doom.
It's still ridiculous, obv, but in a good way.
It's been a huge porkathon (allegedly), as a whole load of contestants have been rumoured to have got it on (in the cupboard and on the stairs etc etc).
The judges have also been accused of being drunk during the live shows, which was obviously fantastic.
And then there's Honey G.
Honey G is arguably the best thing to ever happen to tele / life, and there have been a load of conspiracy theories propping up to try and explain her existence (ranging from her being David Cameron in a wig to her catfishing the show
A whole load of busy bodies have claimed that she's a fake and proof the show is fixed etc etc, and some even signed a petition to try and ban her from the show.
Which seems a bit silly.
And now The X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman has opened up about what she's really like.
AND SHE'S REAL, GUYS, OK?
He knows this because he gazed into her eyes and "saw her soul", obviously.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Brian said: "Honey G is someone when I watched the auditions and I didn't know it was real or fake.
"When I looked into those glasses you can see into her soul."
"She comes into rehearsals and she doesn't get it straight away but works so hard."
"She is going to be singing… yesterday when I had rehearsals it was a little shaky. It could be good or it could be bad…. we’ll see how it goes."
Is anyone else holding out for the day Honey G waltzes onto the stage, nails an Adele song, and creates the best television moment that has ever been?
