Anyone remember how Carpool Karaoke actually started? No?

Way back in the yesteryear of 2011, James Corden zipped about in his Smithy get up, bickering with George Michael in an old Volvo as they attempted to get to Comic Relief.

Now he's cruising through LA picking up Mariah Carey, Michelle Obama and Britney Spears in a proper swanky motor.

Tough life.

The popular sketch has literally completed our lives. Without it, how would we have known Adele could rap Nikki Minaj better than Nikki Minaj? How would we have found out that One Direction fans drop milk over to their houses when they need a brew? And we would have lived an ignorant life never knowing that Leonardo DiCaprio calls J-Lo 'boo boo'.

So what can you expect from the latest celeb to get the Carpool treatment?

EVERYTHING.

Lady Gaga rocked up in a blinding gold shirt and proceeded to have the time of her life alongside the Londoner, while he donned his own version of her meat dress and even had time to wrap himself up in that yellow and black sticky tape.

Bravo, James.

And that fluffy headed costume – if anyone needs Halloween outfit inspo, you'd make a banging cotton bud in that.

She kicked him out of the driving seat to show off her skillz too, which went swimmingly as soon as she worked out how to make the car go. But he was terrified.

LOL.

Gaga also proved that she's got a reet good set of lungs on her as she sang along to her own songs and sounded pretty much EXACTLY like the record.

V impressed, Lady.

We also found out that the waffling bit she does at the start of Bad Romance actually means something. Apparently, it's a word play on 'romance' as in Bad ROMANCE.

See? Mind. Blown.

Here are some more AMAZE Carpools, because you know you want to watch them.
