We know Love Island's Gabrielle Allen's paying tribute to her late father in the villa by wearing his sunglasses, but Montana Brown's also suffered a secret heartache after the loss of her best friend four years ago.

Montana - who was voted viewers' favourite contestant in last night's episode - lost her friend Harry Faulkner in 2013 after he died suddenly during a squash game and has since paid tribute to him on social media.

The pair met through mutual school friends; with Harry's dad Stefan explaining that his son played a winning shot during his squash game before he 'turned grey,' passed out and was tragically pronounced dead in hospital two hours later.

Last December Montana posted a tribute to her 'best boy' Harry on Instagram, simply saying 'I love you.'

A source close to Montana told The Sun: "It was a huge shock and loss for Montana - she and Harry were the best of pals, she cried for days after he died.

"But she’s determined not to forget him and he will always have a special place in her heart. She often reminisces about the laughs they shared."
