Jennifer Lawrence may have caused a bit of a stir in Hawaii after an itch caused her to scratch her bottom on what turned out to be some very sacred, local rocks.

We’ve all been there Jen.

The actress is currently on location there filming the latest instalment of the Hunger Games, Catching fire.

**Scratch that… **

During a television appearance, the 22-year-old star revealed that she would never have used the rocks to relieve her grievances, had she of known that they were important to island locals.

“We got to shoot in the most amazing places. There was one place that was sacred rocks, so there was a meeting in the morning before I got there, (that) I didn't know about, but ap-parently there were certain ways that you were supposed to sit on the rocks because they were sacred.”

“We had these horrible wet suits on and my butt started itching and just nothing could really get it, so I started rubbing my butt on one the rocks.”

Obviously taking tips from Baloo out of the Jungle Book, there.

That's it... keep scratching...
That's it... keep scratching...

“You know when (it's) like nothing can satisfy that itch? I was trying everything and I started doing it and all the camera guys started gasping. And then this huge stone starts tumbling down the hill and they were like, 'That's her fault, it's sacred rocks!’”

Hang on. So not only did she scratch her bottom on the rocks – the fervent rubbing made some of them collapse?

It seems as though the Winter’s Bone star may have got her comeuppance however, as it’s rumoured that the stones may have cursed her. Dun – dun – dun! “

I didn't want to go ask one of the (local) people there,... 'How bad is that?' So I might still be cursed.”

If the sequel to the Hunger Games flops, Jen, we will all know why.
