Ex On The Beach star Jess Impiazzi was one of many to offer their homes as shelter after the attack at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena last night.
She took to Twitter in the early hours of the morning, writing: “If you still haven’t got a place and need somewhere to stay for the night please DM me #RoomForManchester”.
And she’s now revealed that several young people did get in touch with her after she sent the tweet out.
She told The Sun Online: “We had a few kids message and they advised me their parents were on their way to get to them.
“I’m really sad for everyone involved and wish there was more we could have done.”
Jess’s fiancé, rugby union player Denny Solomana, also offered shelter to those affected.
He wrote: “If you haven’t got a place and need somewhere to stay for the nightplease DM me #RoomForManchester”.
Last night’s attack is said to have taken place roughly two minutes after Ariana had stopped performing, and children are among the 22 killed and 59 injured.
Ariana tweeted: "broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don't have words."
The singer's manager, Scooter Braun, also took to Twitter to release a statement.
He shared: "Tonight, our hearts are broken. Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack," the statement read.
"We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act. We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester's first responders who rushed towards danger to help save lives.
"We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families and all those affected in your hearts and prayers."
