Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell have been estranged for nearly a year, after getting together on Celebrity Big Brother

and despite Stephanie carrying Jez's baby, but now they've reunited.

However, things have still been tough for the pair, as Stephanie recently revealed she was the one to tell Jeremy that his dad, Eugene Cooke, sadly passed away after a short battle with cancer.

Just two days after burying his father, Jeremy's aunt passed away.

And now Jeremy has made the decision to fly back to his native Ireland temporarily as he needs some 'space' away to grieve.

A source told The Sun: "Jeremy has temporarily left Liverpool – where he’s been renting a flat nearby Stephanie’s home – to be with close friends and family in Ireland.

"He needs the support of loved ones during this tough time and has headed home so he can have space to properly grieve.

"It’s been an incredibly stressful for Jeremy – losing your aunt and dad in such a short space of time would be difficult for anyone."

They continued: "As a result his relationship with Stephanie has become strained again but hopefully some time apart will do them both good."

It's thought that relations between Stephanie and Jeremy have been strained since the funeral and their blazing rows have reportedly been waking the neighbours with their arguing.

A source previously revealed to the paper that even though the pair are attracted to each other - the trust has goe.

"Jeremy and Steph have incredible sexual chemistry, but there is no trust in their relationship.

"While they both hoped that they could sort out their issues for the sake of their son, it seems that it’s an impossible task.

"Stephanie is jealous and insecure about Jeremy, she always has been."

Let's hope that Jeremy gets the space that he needs for the sake of his little family.
