Remember the days when The X Factor was all Jedward, Matt Cardle and just general light-hearted fun that wasn't stressful at all?

But now it's quite possibly THE MOST controversial show EVER. Arguably more so than Celebrity Big Brother – and that was subject to an actual campaign trying to actually ban it.

We've been told it's a fix more times than Louis Walsh has told someone they're like a young member of Westlife, and it was this year hit with what can only be described as an absolute ratings NIGHTMARE.

The latest controversy surrounds that "living doll" contestant from the weekend, who we admit we literally LOVED.

And it seems we aren't the only ones – as Sada Vidoo (great name) is apparently a platinum selling singer songwriter in Denmark.

Awks.

She wrote the song Infernal for dance act Ten Miles, that was nominated for a Danish Club Hit of the Year Award in 2007 and earned her her first platinum single.

It also topped the charts in Turkey, Spain, Poland and Scandinavia.

"Sada Vidoo is ambitious and wants to conquer the world with her music. She sees The UK as a platform to achieve her dream of becoming an international star," a source told the Daily Star.

Fair enough, we say.

When she auditioned, the judging panel were extremely confused.

Simon said: "Sada - you're not a doll, this is ridiculous," and Sharon asked: "So you go out like this?"

Sada told the panel that she does, which is very, very fair.

Why the f*ck not?

An X Factor spokesperson said: "Anyone can apply for The X Factor whether they are professional or amateur, irrespective of their past experience and all contestants are auditioned on merit. Past experience can not always be featured in the programme due to time constraints."
