Remember that time about seven years ago when you briefly dated that musician who turned out to be a bit of a dick so you ripped him to shreds in a super public way? You’d think all that drama would be dead now, given that it's SEVEN YEARS LATER. But no, not if your Taylor Swift and that musician is John Mayer.
Yep, if anyone knows how to hold a grudge its John Mayer. In 2013, three years after their romance, he released a song about her called Paper Doll where he slated her for being "22 girls in one". He also called out the snakiness we’ve come to see since the #KimexposedTaylorparty with lyrics such as "pull some strings, and make yourself some angel wings".
And yet again, almost four years later, he’s back at it with the shady digs. Taylor turned 27 yesterday, and received a host of birthday wishes from tonnes of celebs…
But no matter how many celebrity friends you have, or how big your squad is (vom), Taylor just proves you’ll always have a bitter ex ready to try and ruin your birthday…
John Mayer apparently tweeted AND DELETED:
"Tuesday, December 13 may be the lamest day of the year, conceptually."
Of course, he could dislike Tuesday, December 13 for another reason, but it’s kind of weird to really hate one day of the year anyway, let alone tweet about it?
