Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been making headlines this week after their unexpected announcement that they were splitting after 15 months of marriage, followed by the shocking allegations that Johnny hit Amber. This resulted in the actress obtaining a temporary restraining order against him over the weekend.
Now, reports suggest that Johnny is planning to orchestrate a TV interview to address all the rumours and speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship and consequent break-up.
According to The Mirror, Johnny wants to take part in a ‘sit-down-tell-all’ interview to prove to fans that he’s “not a monster”. The Pirates of the Caribbean star is currently touring with his rock band, Hollywood Vampires, but reportedly wants to set the record straight when he return home in order to clear his name.
Amber filed for divorce just days after the death of Johnny’s mother, Betty Sue Palmer, and we reported yesterday that the actress appeared in court to obtain a restraining order against him. Celebrity website TMZ claims that she is alleging that Johnny threw an iPhone in her face ahead of their shock split announcement, and that he reportedly offered her money to keep her quiet about it.
Despite Amber’s lawyer filing for a temporary restraining order against the 52 year old actor, Johnny has not yet publically spoken about any of the events that have gained much media attention over the last week.
However, speculation around the A-lister's relationship has only increased in the last few days with reports claiming that Johnny was allegedly paranoid that his wife, Amber, was cheating on him with model and actress, Cara Delevingne.
