We don’t know about you, but we found last night’s episode of Love Island EXTREMELY STRESSFUL, and were pretty much hiding behind our cushions the entire time.

That lie detector test is a mare.

Perhaps the most difficult to watch was Gabby Allen’s, whose feelings for Marcel Somerville have been questioned by many viewers.

When asked during the lie detector test whether she thought Marcel was ‘the one’, it stated she was lying when she said yes. And when she was asked whether she loves him, she said no - which came up as true.

Later on in the show, Gabby got her fellow islanders to spell out ‘I love you’ in the garden, and they rekindled their romance.

Many viewers weren’t convinced of Gabby’s authenticity - and took to Twitter to express their views.

TOWIE’s Jon Clark, who appeared on the first series of Love Island, tweeted (then deleted): “Marcel.. Cam villa has jumped on tv and she basically acts like the royal family! But gabby ain’t put out.. come on G… next!”

His words have attracted huge controversy, one branding them “disgusting”.

One Twitter user wrote: “What a grim attitude towards women, shaming her because she hasn’t put out. Disgusting.”

Another added: Wow. Just wow. Someone is fake because they have morals?!? Nice”.

And another asked: “Why has she gotta have sex on TV?”

Jon has since tweeted: “Sore gabby played a good game Yano #LoveIsland”
