This might sound a bit 2015 of us but Love Island's Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood are just COUPLE GOALS, are they not? He didn't even cave and do the dirty on Olivia when Katie Price slid into his DMs, which is no mean feat for any man. But how come they're so close, eh? Could it be that they - dun dun duuuun - knew each other before the show?
Well that's what one Love Island fan got us all thinking when she got her absolute Miss Marple on and noticed Olivia actually knows Chris's 'life-long' friend. Hmm.
So here's the deal. Fan of the show @ifyouseecait aka a Sherlock Holmes for 2017 pointed out that Olivia was pictured with one of Chris's closest pals George Grey over a year ago; meaning there's a chance they might've mixed in the same circles.
Posing with George in a selfie taken on 1st January 2016, Olivia captioned the pic 'Beltz & OJ #Manchester @oliviajadeuk @abibelton.'
Weird? Not really, UNTIL Chris also posted a pic with George and Olivia post-Palma with the caption 'So good to catch up with my life-longs, been way too long! Miss you both! #powerfulpeople @georgeray5 @georgycoops.'
Well what d'ya know? Georgycoops is getting himself around a bit, isn't he?
But don't fear, friends; the pair didn't actually know each other before hitting Majorca. Liv's rep assured Cosmopolitan UK: "They definitely didn't [know each other]. They're from very different circles, and he lives in the Cotswolds and she in Surrey. They have never crossed paths before."
