Hands up if you’re over 2016 already but feel like it’s taking an unnecessarily long time to just give up and hand over to January?
We get it.
We’re so done with it – and not just because we’ve lost so many legends this year, let alone this week.
But we are tired of eating and drinking ourselves into oblivion over the festive period and now we’re actually looking forward to waving goodbye to the last of the brie in the fridge and starting January with some vegetables.
And if the sound of no more leftover turkey sounds good to you, wait until you hear this.
There’s a brand spanking new trailer for the live action version of Beauty and the Beast.
WE KNOW.
Last year we were teased intermittently with tiny teasers and little snippets of the blockbuster starring the absolute babe that is Emma Watson, and it felt like we were yonks away from actually seeing the movie.
Then there was that whole dramz when people started complaining that the Beast wasn’t hot enough.
Erm, yeah, sure. He’s a BEAST, people.
LOLOL.
But incase you were too busy unwrapping a pair of Manolo Blahniks (LOL JK – we spelt Primark’s Finest Plimsoles wrong), you wouldn’t have noticed that a new trailer dropped on Christmas Day.
And what a treat it is.
We get to see a whole load of Belle and the Beast, as well as Gaston, who we were pretty sure we detested as kids. Now, though, thanks to Luke Evans in all his chiseled beauty we’re not so sure.
Thanks for confusing the feelings we’ve had for a good twenty five years, mate.
The film is set to be released on March 17th 2017, which really isn’t that far away at all – if December hurries up and gets gone.
