Kanye West had reportedly been rushed to hospital just a day after news broke that he had cancelled the rest of his Saint Pablo tour.
He is allegedly being treated for sleep deprivation and exhaustion.
Speaking to People magazine, as source has said: "He is exhausted and currently dealing with sleep deprivation.
"He went to the hospital at will under the advice of his physician. He's fine."
It has also been reported that Kim Kardashian, who was due to make her first high profile appearance since the Paris robbery at the Angel Ball in New York, has flown to Los Angeles to be with her husband.
Kanye had recently been causing a bit of a stir on social media, after he interrupted a number of his own concerts with a string of rants.
He then made the decision to cancel the of the dates of this Saint Pablo tour on Monday.
This news comes just days after he tore into Beyonce and Jay Z at one of his concerts.
According to Kanye's rep: "The remaining dates on the Saint Pablo have been cancelled.
"Tickets will be fully refunded at point of purchase," they told E! News in a statement.
Fans of the rapper have since taken to Twitter to show their support for Kanye, along with the hashtag #PrayForKanye.
One wrote: "idc how u feel about him he's still a human. mental health is just as important as physical health"
Another said: "Celebrities are human beings too. Hopefully Kanye West will be alright."
