Kim Kardashian has been keeping a very low profile since her ordeal in Paris earlier this month. The reality TV star was gagged, held and gunpoint and robbed of millions of pounds of jewellery.
While Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have broken their social media silence, Kim is still nowhere to be seen, and was decidedly absent from the Keeping Up With The Kardashians wrap party.
We recently heard from her assistant, Stephanie Shep, that Kim was taking "some much needed time off" in the wake of the robbery and earlier we reported Kris Jenner had finally spoken about what had happened to her eldest daughter and let us know how Kim is getting on.
Speaking at an event for Khloe's new denim clothing line, Kris AKA The Momager revealed to E!: "It’s a process. One day at a time. It's a process."
As Kim - who has cancelled several public appearances including trips to Dubai and Las Vegas - is taking time to recover from her ordeal, it is reported that Kanye West has decided to cancel the huge birthday party he had planned for his wife.
The rapper had allegedly planned a 1920s themed party to celebrate Kim's upcoming 36th birthday, but has had to cancel the bash due to security concerns.
“He had gone all out for Kim’s birthday and it was going to be an all expenses sparred event with champagne and canapés," a source told The Sun.
Putting his family's security first, Kanye is apparently organising a very low key affair for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star instead.
However, he hasn't held back with Kim's present.
Kanye has reportedly splashed £40,000 on a pair of Ruby Lorraine Schwartz earrings, and apparently even helped design them himself.
