In a 90 second behind-the-scenes clip for her new song with Zayn Malik I Don't Wanna Live Forever, Taylor Swift says she's pioneering the glitter lip look in music videos.
The soundtrack to the new Fifty Shades Darker film, Tay is filmed getting crimson glittery lips while she says: "What we’re doing right now is a glitter lip that I’ve seen on shoots and on the runway and stuff, but I haven’t really seen people do it in a music video or anything."
Maybe she was a bit too busy to have seen the new Missy Elliot vids for I'm Better (her lips are AMAZING and shiny in this) and WTF, Ariana Grande's Break Free or Kesha's We R Who We R.
She adds: "I’m just, like, really stoked about the lips right now. I feel like I have a disco ball on my face!"
Now THAT is something we'd like to see. Zayn Malik crooning with Tay tay wearing a giant disco ball on her head. Or both of them wearing matching disco balls. Considering the tone of the song, though, we're guessing that's not going to happen.
The lips got a lot of traction online, with loads of fans applauding the look.
Later, Taylor jokes about her acting in the video, saying: "Did you catch that? Did you see that last take, what I did there? The way that I was able to emote with the back of my head. See, that’s what 12 years of experience gets you."
In terms of the video itself - we're looking forward to it. It looks like everything a Fifty Shades of Grey music video should be. Sexy, dark, brooding, involving Zayn Malik.
And what's nice is that the pair seem to be getting along really well - one of the other clips released shows Taylor talking about how much she admires the ex-Directioner.
