Since Katy Perry released her fourth studio album Witness last week (the same day as Taylor Swift chucked her entire back catalogue on streaming services, contro), she's been holed-up in a Big Brother-style house with a gazillion cameras as part of her Witness World Wide live stream.

She's being witnessed, get it?

The whole thing's provided hours of entertainment; mainly in the form of her ridiculously-adorable Cockapoo Nugget and that moment she handed arch enemy Taylor a metaphorical olive branch.

Now the star's opened up about her mental health struggles in a frank therapy session with Viceland's Dr. Siri Sat Nam Singh.

Refusing to hold back, Katy admitted she once experienced suicidal thoughts. Discussing her track By the Grace of God, Katy said: "I feel ashamed that I would have those thoughts, feel that low and that depressed.

"You can be right or you can be loved. I just want to be loved."

Chatting about her public persona, Katy added: "People talk about my hair, right, and they don't like it, or they wish that it was longer.

"I so badly want to be Katheryn Hudson that I don't even want to look like Katy Perry anymore sometimes, and that is a little bit of why I cut my hair."

The whole session's absolutely RIVETING, to be honest. Give it a watch over lunch below:

Deep.
