Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are a force to be reckoned with. The supermodel BFFs have not only run down the infamous Victoria’s Secret catwalk together, but they're also kind of related AND part of the biggest girl squad of all time (well, we aren't so sure that Kendall is anymore since Taylor and Kim had a HUGE fall out over THAT Kanye song).

But, even if she isn't in with the cool kids anymore, Kendall literally doesn't care.

Wanna know why?

Because people with no knees are known for not giving a shit.

What's that, you say? Kendall and Gigi DO have knees, because you've seen them – like in this picture?

So naïve.

We thought so too, until we saw the latest cover of W Magazine, where they simply don't have them anymore.

Yes, really.

For some bizarre reason, those creative brains behind the cover thought it best to get rid of those pretty necessary body parts. Does anyone even think about their knees unless they accidentally get scraped, clutching onto a kebab and falling out of an Uber?

Didn't think so.

We can only realistically come up with two reasons why this might have happened.

They either looked SO GOOD that the mag was worried everyone would be distracted by their beauty instead of focusing on the models.

Or, as one Twitter user pointed out, the dastardly Gilderoy Lockhart made a return despite Harry Potter's best efforts and bewitched the girls' pins.

Everyone took to social media to voice their concerns over the image, because it's 2016 and does anyone even write stuff with a pen anymore?

Some were terrified of Kendall's smile, which reveals one GIGANTIC tooth and a knobbly bitten tongue.

Others were impressed that Gigi had managed to grow an extra toe.

But a spokesperson for W Magazine told Buzzfeed: "The images of Kendall and Gigi are part of a project by artists Lizzie Fitch and Ryan Trecartin, who are known for their deliberate use of digital technology, combining distortions with makeup and prosthetics."

Great. Because knees are SO 2015.
