Earlier this week reports claimed 17 suspects had been arrested as part of the investigation into Kim Kardashian's horrific robbery in Paris.

The reality TV star was held at gunpoint and robbed of millions of pounds worth of jewellery during her stay in Paris for Paris Fashion Week in October last year.

There have since been claims that the robbery was an inside job. Yesterday, French newspaper Le Monde reported that out of 17 people questioned – the oldest of whom is apparently 72 years old - many were already "known to the police" and that one of the suspects arrested on Monday worked for the limo company the Kardashian uses on her trips to Paris.

However, according to TMZ, Kim's limo driver, Michael Madar, was taken in to Police custody "for testimony purposes" only. Additional reports also suggest that many of the suspects interviewed by the police were known criminals.

People also states that the five men who allegedly dressed as police officers to secure access into Kim's hotel have been "identified via DNA found on a roll of adhesive tape that was used to bind Kardashian West’s hands."

Kim and other members of the Kardashian family have yet to comment on these developments, while the limo driver has since been released by the police with 'no criminal charges'.
