As if you needed another reason to fall madly in love with Tom Hardy, he reportedly put his action movie acting skills to use on Sunday afternoon as it's claimed he chased after, and caught, a thief who had stolen a moped and crashed into a Mercedes.

Reports claim Tom sprinted after the man who'd stolen a moped and crashed it into the £50,000 car with another thief. One had been arrested straight away but the other tried to make a run for it, leaving Tom to chase after him through gardens and a building site in Richmond, London.

After the Hollywood-esque chase, Tom reportedly managed to successfully catch the moped bandit, declaring: "I caught the c*nt!", before handing him over to the police.

According to The Sun, a witness said: "It was mental – like he’d switched to superhero mode in an action movie. Two boys on the nicked moped had jumped a red light and smashed into a car.

"Tom must have been walking down the road. He went off like a shot in pursuit and looked furious. If the kid had been dumb enough to resist I reckon Tom would have given him a good hiding."

OUR HERO.

CBeebies viewers (the parents, not the babies, obvs) recently saw a softer side to the FITLORD actor when he read out children's' books on the Bedtime Stories series on New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

Babysitting had never never been so appealing, tbh.
