Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning a ‘birth party’ in the hospital for when their surrogate gives birth. And no, we’re not talking balloons and cupcakes…

Apparently The Wests want close friends and family to be able to be with them from the very second their baby is born – and have invited them along so they can watch the birth.

Well, kind of.

They’ll be in an ajoining room, but the idea is that they’re there right from their baby’s first moments.

A source close to Kim told The Sun: “Kim had very difficult pregnancies with both North and Saint, so she couldn’t have her family around her for those births.

“This time, she wants to be really in the moment – there for every second of the birth, and wants to bond with the baby immediately.”

Kim isn’t the first Kardashian to have a public birth, Kourt not only had a birthing party for Mason, but Scott Disick filmed it and it ended up on Keeping Up with the Kardashians!

Speaking further about Kim’s plans, the insider added: “It’s not going to be everyone she knows – just Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, mum Kris and maybe few close friends and family on Kanye's side.

“So many people have been with Kim and Kanye on this journey, they want to share the special moment with them.”

Hey, Kim, we’ve been watching KUWTK since the beginning, fancy sharing it with us too?! A birth party spin-off, maybe?

While details about Kim and Kanye’s baby are still up in the air, reports suggest that they’re expecting a girl, and that she’s due in January.

Their surrogate is being held in a safe house until the birth, with £1.2m of security at all times.
