The world was rocked by the news that that Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint by a group dressed as policemen in the early hours of Monday morning.

It was reported that she was tied up in the bath and begged for her life, after which she had around £9million of jewellery stolen.

Her spokesperson, Ina Treceiokas, said at the time: "Kim Kardashian was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers.

"She is badly shaken but physically unharmed."

And her mother, Kris Jenner, added to E! News: "She will be OK".

But aside from these statements, the family appear to have remained tight lipped about the ordeal on social media.

But Caitlyn Jenner has now posted a heartfelt message to Kim on Instagram.

Alongside a pic of her stepdaughter, she wrote: "Love my girl! After hearing the full story, I'm so thankful she's okay. It's a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world."

This comes after she came under fire for posting what many perceived to be an insensitive picture soon after the raid happened.

Seemingly ignoring the news, she posted a pic of her and Kylie with the caption: "Had so much fun with Kylie at Sunday's car show. Here we are with my friend Jeff Dunham's original#Batmobile”

Caitlyn's followers responded to the post with comments like: "This was a really insensitive thing to post after what happened to Kim" and "Your daughter nearly got killed and you post a pic of a fun day out? That's a really odd reaction."

Kylie is the only other member of the family to post on social media since the ordeal, posting a pic of her arse on the beach.

Lovely.
