The world was rocked by the news that Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in the early hours of Monday morning.

There have been a number of rumours circulating, some even suggesting that it was an inside job – and the latest of these is that Kim is concerned that "deeply personal" photos and videos could emerge in light of the robbery.

As well as the jewellery, Kim reportedly had two mobile phones stolen.

A source close to her said: "She is reeling from the trauma of what she went through.

"But much of the terror and shock she is still suffering is due to the real fear that pictures and videos on her two pinched mobile phones leak online," they told The Sun.

"There is footage on the devices that was only ever meant to stay private.

"It would be catastrophic for Kim if her personal property was made public. She’s at her wits’ end."

Roughly an hour before the 3am raid, Kim had posted to Snapchat a video of her blowing a kiss to one of her handsets while FaceTiming Blac Chyna at the baby shower.

Speaking at the time of the ordeal, Kim's spokesperson Ina Treceiokas said: "Kim Kardashian was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers.

"She is badly shaken but physically unharmed."

Kim had been enjoying Paris fashion week with Kourtney Kardashian and Kris Jenner, and been spotted on the front row of Balenciaga, Givenchy and Balmain.

Her children Saint and North West were both apparently in the country, though not in the room at the time, People reports.

Kris Jenner said to E! News of Kim: "She will be OK".
