Mothers-in-law, eh? Always trying to poke their beaks in where they're not wanted. Always demanding 10% of whatever you make. Always stealing your $$$ dresses and claiming tha- wait, hang on: what?
It looks very much like Kanye West is having a major MIL issue at the moment, as he and Kris Jenner are beefing over what they consider to be right for Kim Kardashian's career.
Kris believes Kim needs to come back into the family fold a little more and give up trying to promote Kanye's ridiculous fashion line (because come on: how sweaty must Kim's legs be after wearing those plastic thigh-high boots for a week in a row? Trenchfoot central).
Kanye, for obvious reasons, disagrees and it's got to the point where he's having daily confrontations with Kris, according to heat's insider.
"Things have been getting out of control with Kanye," they claimed.
"He's losing it with the family, and he's been having almost daily confrontations with Kris, who he claims is trying to 'sabotage' him. He's demanding meetings and screaming about Kim.
"Kris is trying to have private conversations with Kim to lay it all out for her – that Kanye has lost his edge, the family needs to start distancing themselves from him commercially and she needs to take control of him. She worries the association with Kanye could ruin their brand."
Worse than that is Ye's insistence on brand loyalty to the companies he works with – which means Kris is having to turn down juicy endorsements from other products.
In fact, Kanye's need for control is even spreading to other members of the Kardashian klan, including little sister Kylie Jenner, whose boyfriend Tyga has just been signed to Kanye's label.
"Kanye takes his styling of Kim seriously and he's sick of Kylie ripping it off," our mole added.
"He told her to do something drastic to change her look to stop the comparisons with Kim or he'd ban her from attending his fashion shows and gigs. That's why Kylie dyed her hair blonde – Kanye ordered her to.
"She thinks it's because she endorsed Puma shoes in conflict with Kanye's Adidas deal, but she's not prepared to argue with him, especially as Kanye just signed her boyfriend Tyga to his record label. She was pretty upset about how he acted."
