When we were 13, we’re fairly sure we spent our days mooching about in flares and non-trendy trainers and hanging out in Claire’s Accessories.
But Millie Bobby Brown spends them being literally the coolest child in the world, starring in one of the biggest TV shows of the moment, and winning swanky awards.
During her acceptance speech for ‘Best Actor’ at the MTV Awards last night, she broke down into tears while saying: “I want to thank the cast and crew [of Stranger Things] for being my second family – you guys, I love you. And I want to thank my family… and my mum and dad for being so supportive.”
She also thanked the Duffel brothers, concluding her speech with: “They’ve created a bad-ass, female, iconic character that I’ve got the honour to play.”
