Next Steph and Jez? Maybe...

We could all be wrong. TOWIE's Lewis Bloor and Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson could well be in love after a mere two weeks cooped up together, they might even be Channel 5's answer to Romeo and Juliet – but we're still not convinced.

They do share the same management. They could have easily been whatsapping beforehand, just like Renee and Chloe...

And it seems like their fellow housemates aren't really buying their love either. The very housemates that have to put up with their cringey antics 24 hours a day.

In a conversation with James Whale, Heavy D explained that 'showmances don't do any favours' whilst gesturing over at Lewnie.

"You can't fall in live after two weeks it's impossible!"

However, Lewis insisted that two weeks is more than enough time to 'plant the seed'. LOL.

Plant the seed where, Lewis? In her heart? Probs not.

Not convinced, Heavy didn't hold back.

"A showmance doesn’t get you further in the game."

Adding: "Why are you arguing after two weeks if it's a romance?"

"The honeymoon period is meant to be sweet. You're not meant to be arguing after two days!"

Especially arguingabout exes on eyelash boxes...

Maybe we're being too cynical, maybe we're just being real.

Here's what lovely people on Twitter think:

OUCH.
