As Nicole Sherzinger (odd) couples-up with Ed Sheeran, her ex Lewis Hamilton has been enjoying a surprise romance of his own – with pop star Rihanna.
The notoriously clean-living, super-focused sportsman, 30, and the party-loving singer, 27, aren’t an obvious match either, but, according to Rihanna’s “second mum”, it’s one made in genetic heaven.

“They would have beautiful babies,” says Sharon Bellamy Thompson, who was talking to heat exclusively from her home in Barbados. “As long as this man makes her happy, he’s got my approval. You’ve got to love his British charm.”
Sharon – who helped raise the singer as a child, babysitting her and driving her to school, and who she refers to by her real name of Robyn – saw Rihanna two weeks ago, when she and Lewis flew to Barbados for its annual carnival.
The pair, who had until then kept their relationship under wraps, were pictured partying together. “I saw her at the carnival and Lewis is so handsome,” adds Sharon. “When the time’s right, Robyn will make a great mum – she loves kids.”
