The One Love gig, organised by Ariana Grande, took place on Sunday night at Manchester Emirates Stadium as a tribute to the victims of the terror attack at the Manchester Area last month.
Liam Gallagher made an appearance towards the end of the show, performing with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, but it had been heavily rumoured that his brother Noel would join him for an Oasis reunion.
Liam took to Twitter after last night’s show to slam his brother for not attending the concert, writing: “Manchester id like to apologise for my brothers absence last night very disappointed stay beautiful stay safe LG x”
It’s been reported that Noel was in Italy with his family celebrating his 50th birthday, and is said to have ignored Liam’s calls to attend the concert.
A source told The Sun: “After accepting the offer to perform, Liam believed he could convince Noel to take part with him.”
“But his calls fell on deaf ears. Noel simply can’t entertain Liam, especially while he’s with his family on holiday.”
