Following the rumoured divorce from her husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, Cheryl (currently Fernandez-Versini) is said to be planning to drop the Frenchman’s last name.

So the question is... what will she change it to?

Apparently, Cheryl wants to be known as just Cheryl until her decree nisi is finalised, and then will revert back to either Cole or Tweedy.

“Cheryl Cole became a brand. It wasn’t about Ashley in the end. A lot of people still refer to her as Cheryl Cole because it was under that name that she went from a girl band member to a massive superstar and household name,” a source told The Sun.

We can see the reasoning behind that.

But in wake of the blossoming romance between Cheryl and One Direction’s Liam Payne, could another name be on the cards for the X Factor judge?

Liam appeared to confirm the pair’s relationship on Instagram at the weekend by sharing a photo of the two snuggling up, with Liam topless, the saucy minx.

The two singers are rumoured to have been secretly been dating since December, the same month Cheryl split from her husband of 19 months.
