The internet has exploded with the news that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Liam Payne are dating, so it got us thinking – what other celebrity women bagged themselves a toy boy?
Not all of the relationships worked out, but some are still going strong.
Sarah Harding and Benjamin Costain

Sarah, 34, has reportedly started dating 21-year-old Benjamin after meeting him at a football match earlier in the year.
"Sarah doesn't care about the age gap. Even the fact Benjamin lives with his parents didn't put her off as she occasionally sneaked into his bedroom,” a source told The Sun.
Caroline Flack and Harry Styles
Age gap: 15 years
Relationship length: Three months
The then Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack, 32 at the time, came under attack from jealous Directioners when her secret relationship with One Direction’s Harry Styles, 17, surfaced.
She reportedly received death threats from the fans who not only wanted the band-member themselves but were angered by the 15 year age gap and the fact Harry was only 17 at the time.
Harry’s music commitments took over the importance of the relationship, and the pair split just three months later.
Despite the brief romance, the couple still remain good friends with Caroline speaking highly of the young Harry, saying: “He is a nice person. He was nice to me – we were nice to each other. He’s brilliant, he is so much fun.”
Madonna and Jesus Luz
Age gap: 27 years
Relationship length: One year
After her marriage to director Guy Ritchie (who was 10 years younger than her) ended, Madonna started dating Brazilian model Jesus Luz, who was 27 at the time and 28 years younger than the singer who was then 50.
The couple split after a year together because they had little to talk about, it was claimed.
Madonna was said to have told a friend: “It’s really pushing it for us to have common ground these days. We have Kabbalah, that’s about it.”
Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Age gap: 23 years
Relationship length: On-going
Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson met on the set of Nowhere Boy, that Sam was directing and Aaron was starring in. At the time of meeting Sam was 42 and Aaron 19.
After a few months of dating the pair announced their engagement at the premiere of the film where the two had met.
The couple married in 2012 and have two daughters together, Wylda Rae (born 2010) and Romy Hero (born 2012).
Sam has said about their relationship: “In the old days, “controversial” in a relationship meant same-sex or mixed races. Now, it is a woman with a younger man. That would not happen with a man.”
While Aaron said: “I’m an old soul and she’s a young soul. We don’t see an age gap, we just see each other.”
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher
Age gap: 16 years
Relationship length: Eight years
The couple got together in 2003 when Demi was 41 and Ashton 25, and married in 2005.
They seemed to be proving everyone wrong about the age gap, and weren’t afraid to show off their attraction to each other over social media, including that bikini pic of Demi.
After months of speculation, Demi announced her decision to end her six year marriage to Ashton and the divorced was finalised in 2013.
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker
Age gap: Seven years
Relationship length: Six years
The couple met in 2004 when Eva was 29 and Tony 22. They announced their engagement two years later and married in 2007.
The couple signed a pre-nup in 2007, but this didn't help Eva when she filed for divorce in LA on November 17 2010 citing "irreconcilable differences”.
Two days later, Tony filed for divorce in Texas on the grounds of “discord or conflict of personalities”. Eva's petition was dismissed but Tony's was allowed.
However, Tony's petition didn’t mention the prenuptial agreement and claimed that the parties would “enter into an agreement for the division of their estate” and Tony walked away with more of the estate than the pair had agreed pre-wedding.

Kelly Brook and Danny Cipriani

Relationship length: 22 months / Seven months
After Kelly split from her fiancé Billy Zane in 2008, she began dating Danny who was 20 at the time, and Kelly was 28.
The relationship lasted for almost two years, but it’s reported they split due to Danny moving to Australia for his rugby career and Kelly not wanting to follow for fear of not progressing in her TV/film career.
After three years, the pair got back together for a short seven month romance in 2013, but ended due to reports of Danny cheating on Kelly with several women.
Kim Cattrall and Alan Wyse

Kim, 48 at the time, began dating Canadian chef Alan Wyse when he was 26 in 2004.
