So we take our hats off to Sophia Smith, who has revealed she text Liam Payne after the news broke that his GF Cheryl had given birth to his baby.
WELL DONE SOPHIA.
Speaking to The Sun about the news, she said, “I messaged to congratulate him.
“We’re all good. I’m happy for him.”
It all got a bit awks when Sophia said that the news of her ex and the former X Factor judge’s romance was “so weird” in an interview when they first started dating.
But now the pair have firmly moved on, there’s clearly no going back.
Cheryl gave birth to Liam’s son last month and despite admitting she's in a "love bubble", the A-list star is yet to reveal his name.
Her fans were super excited to see her at the Cannes Film Festival following the birth, but they were sadly disappointed when it was revealed she wouldn’t be attending earlier this week.
A spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris said, “Having only given birth less than one month ago, Cheryl will not be attending Cannes Film Festival 2017 with L’Oreal Paris.”
