We’re guessing those of you who aren’t fans of Liam Payne were probably feeling VERY IRRITATED last week, because there was a hell of a lot of Liam news knocking around to coincide with the release of his new single (which is LIT by the way).
AND IT’S NOT OVER YET, because Liam has done his 3948822883th interview (or thereabouts) and has been chatting about his One Direction boiz. Specifically, which of them he’d trust to babysit.
And it turns out he doesn’t have much faith in Harry Styles.
Speaking on Vodafone’s Big Top 40, he said: "I couldn't rely on Harry [Styles] 'cause I feel like my child would come out dressed in something that I just wouldn't understand."
TBF that is probably true.
He added: "Then with Niall [Horan], the kid would be putting golf balls on tees!"
Again, probably true.
In (sort of) related news, Liam last week addressed the age gap between him and Cheryl (he’s 23, she’s 33), admitting that she ‘doesn’t like to talk about it’.
Liam was just 14 when he first auditioned for The X Factor, and Cheryl was a judge on the panel (you’ve probably seen the clip circulating Facebook).
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning, Grimmy said: "'Cause it is mad, like you auditioned for X Factor when she was a judge on X Factor."
Liam then replied: "Yeah but we don't want to talk about that. She doesn't like to talk about that."
"Okay, let's not talk about this," replied Grimmy. "Can we talk about this in private?"
Liam then said: "Yeah, okay."
Erm. Awkward…
Grimmy then asked if he'd consider being a judge on The X Factor, and listed all his successes, saying: "And you're only 12."
Liam laughed, adding: "She's going to be really offended that you called me 12 by the way."
