Liam Payne and Cheryl might be one of the newest celebrity couples on the showbiz block, but they've already ticked off a bunch of milestones – including Cheryl meeting Liam's family.
As heat reported recently, there was a small amount of beef because Chezza hadn't been invited to Liam's sister Ruth's wedding – until Liam managed to wrangle an invite for her.
Then there was some hand-wringing about whether having Cheryl at the ceremony would distract from the bride and groom – although having an actual One Directioner in the room would be way more disruptive to the majority of people, we would've thought.
ANYWAY. Cheryl did end up going to the wedding, and she chose to wear the baggiest grey dress she could find in a bid to leave the spotlight firmly on Ruth.
Obvs it didn't quite work out that way, and – as this is 2016 and the internet exists solely to criticise women – Twitter was really angry that Cheryl had… been considerate? Listened to traditional wedding etiquette and responded appropriately?
Ruth has since tweeted in support of Cheryl, telling her followers that she "had no say" over what her guests wore.
"What a sad world we live in where people tear strips off others for no reason," she ranted.
"I loved my wedding dress, I felt like a princess, I also lost 3 stone to feel as beautiful as I did in it, that was hard work when I'm a naturally chunky girl, not everyone needs to be a size 10 to get married."
Ruth continued: "I also had no say in what any guest wore to my wedding, I don't know who does have a say but considering my brother's girlfriend is one of the most beautiful women in the world she can wear anything and still look stunning, as she did at my wedding.
"There's enough hate in the world without people writing nasty stuff about people they don't know," she added.
Cheryl and Liam have made no reference to the wedding on their social media, but now it seems Chezza's won over the big sister, could their own relationship be stepping up another level soon?
