Liberty X

After Kevin Simm won this year's The Voice UK, Michelle Heaton has revealed that the band is getting back together.

It's time to get the black leather outfits out from the back of the wardrobe, because ALL OF OUR 2007 DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE.

"We have gigs in the pipeline and we're actually doing Birmingham Gay Pride in a few weeks time. Kevin will be performing with us still," Michelle told The Sun.

Liberty X was formed from the five runners-up on Popstars (remember that?!) back in 2001, including Kevin, Michelle, Tony Lundon, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young.

But in 2007, the band split until their appearance on The Big Reunion in 2012, where they all gave us hope of seeing the band together again.

Then once more we were heartbroken, as Tony confirmed Liberty X would not be continuing as a band after the TV show.

However, after Kevin's recent appearance and mega success on BBC One's The Voice, Liberty X is once more reuniting to give us Just A Little bit more.

Kevin released his debut solo single All You Good Friends last week, which entered the charts at No 24.

Michelle added in her chat that Liberty X hasn't "released music in a while" but she can definitely "see [us] doing a lot more".

Hopefully this time we will see the band stick around for a lot longer than in recent years.
