Lindsay Lohan's front door was smashed in by police after she was heard screaming for help in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The actress woke up her street in London's Knightsbridge when she was heard screaming at her fiancé Egor Tarabasov that he'd tried to kill her.

"Please please please. He just strangled me. He almost killed me. Everybody will know. Get out of my house," she said, according to witnesses.

"Do it. I dare you again. You're f-cking crazy. You sick f-ck. You need help. It's my house, get out of my house."

She also yelled out her name and address, prompting neighbours to ring the police because they were so concerned for her safety.

Lindsay, who was apparently standing on the balcony of her flat when this happened, was also overheard saying: "I'm done. I don't love you anymore. You tried to kill me. You're a f-cking psycho."

She added: "No Egor, you've been strangling me constantly. You can't strangle a woman constantly and beat the shit out of her and think it's ok. Everybody saw you touch me. It’s filmed. Get out! Get out."

When the police arrived, they could get no response – so smashed in Lindsay's door to check she was alright.

A Met Police statement said: "Officers attended and following concerns for the welfare of the occupants inside they forced entry into the address.

"There was no one inside but enquiries were made and the occupants were traced and found to be safe and well."

The incident came just hours after a string of bizarre Instagram posts in which Lindsay accused 22-year-old Egor of cheating on her with a Russian 'prostitute'.

And she scribbled out his face in this snap of the two of them:

It turns out that the 'prostitute' is actually Lindsay and Egor's friend Dasha Pashevkina, who uploaded a statement defending herself to Instagram:

On top of that, Lindsay then hinted she was pregnant by tweeting a link to a still of her earlier film Labor Pains, in which she plays a woman who is forced to pretend she's expecting in order to keep her job.
