Sam Thompson and Amelia Lily sparked up a romance on CBB, but viewers accused Sam of playing Amelia and leading her on.
But now Sam has hit back at these claims, insisting everything he said about her in the house is actually true.
At WeWork's Creator Awards, which took place in London last night, Sam told The Sun's Bizarre column: “What I said in the house is completely true – I wanted to take her for a date outside the house, outside the f***** up environment."
He added: "Everything has happened how I would hoped it would happen. I take things very slowly in my actual life – I don’t like fake stuff, I want it to be organic.”
Since leaving the house, Amelia and Sam have been on three dates – they were recently seen watching Aladdin at the theatre together.
The CBB stars have played down the relationship though, with Sam saying the pair are just "hanging out" and are "definitely not boyfriend and girlfriend."
Both have also both recently come out of serious relationships. Sam and fellow Made In Chelsea star Tiffany Watson ended a three-year relationship not long ago, while Amelia split up with Steve Rushton earlier this year after dating for four years.
And, Amelia admitted, they are both still rocked by these relationships, which is why they have decided to take things slowly.
