Big news, fans of football, fans of One Direction and fans of fit men in shorts.

Louis Tomlinson has joined the line-up of Soccer Aid 2016, woo!

The new dad joins celeb ball dribblers including Marvin Humes, Olly Murs and Mark Wright.

Robbie Williams will be acting as the team's manager, unsure why.

We also can't quite work out why there are only men taking part but maybe there's a good reason.

Louis may be hoping his cutie-pie son, Freddie, shares his dad's skills on the pitch.

Look at this snap he's shared:

Awww.

Young Freddie doesn't look much like a doll to us, despite what the conspiracy theorists say.

Soccer Aid takes place on Sunday 5 June at Old Trafford, raising money for Unicef.
