BIT HARSH?

Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbro successfully delivered us the most confusing X Factor audition we've seen ever in our lives.

WHAT did we watch? Did it even happen? Was it all a hallucination?

We have no idea of the answers to any of those questions.

In a nutshell, Ottavio revealed in his VT that he'd originally auditioned with his friend Bradley, but was there solo due to a fall out. He told judges in the audition room that they argued because Bradley had served him undercooked chicken.

YUP.

Bradley, meanwhile, was watching the whole thing from the screen outside (WITH LOUIS TOMLINSON'S DOPPELGANGER BESIDE HIM), and delivered the best line The X Factor has seen since Harry Styles told Matt Cardle how much pussy he was going to get.

"I gave him undercooked chicken, but he didn't even say thanks though."

TERRIBLE MANNERS, OTTAVIO, COME ON.

While he was watching, Louis Tomlinson's lookalike (real name Matt Terry), kept saying soothing things like "don't worry – he really misses you." Which was sweet.

To cut a long story short - it all got very dramatic and tearful, Louis Walsh told Ottavio he looked like a birthday cake, Bradley sang Ignition (Remix), they had an emotional reunion, sang Buttons together, then got through to the next round as a group.

There are just so many funny elements to that story we cannot deal.

It's probably best if you watch it...

As if their story wasn't COMPLEX enough, it's emerged that Bradley had previously badmouthed the show on Twitter – which is a bit bloody awks if you ask us.

He apparently auditioned and got cut from the show in 2014, so tweeted: "The X Factor is literally so boring and shit this year? Where are the tantrums, the exciting people and the FUN…", as well as calling the judges "horrible", The Sun Online reports.

We're guessing Simon's naaat gonna be happy.
