Love Island’s Simon Searles is now saying he wishes he stayed with Montana…

Well, boo hoo.

Love Island Montana Brown

It seems like only yesterday that Simon Searles was thrown into the Love Island villa, and yet before he even had time to properly unpack his case, he was dumped from the island during last night's episode, in the latest shock twist.

The surprise dumping saw Caroline Flack rock up and brand Simon and Tyla the least compatible couple, meaning that the Islanders had to pick one of them to leave the programme for good.

It was BRUTAL. And unfortunately, after receiving the most votes from his fellow Islanders, that meant bye bye Si.

Despite leaving the villa and saying he didn’t regret any of the decisions he made, it seems that the dumped Islander has had a re-think, and says that if he could do things again, he's have stayed coupled up with Montana after all.

In an interview after leaving the villa, he said: "If I could do it again I would just give my time to Montana fully. I think she's a really good girl. She was a lot like myself so it was rubbish really, I would have liked to see where me and Montana could have gone.

"It feels like the attraction could have grown into more of a physical one. The physical attraction wasn't there as much as it was with other people in the villa but the way I got along with Montana, I don't think I could actually get on with a girl more."

Hmmm. Now we wonder why he's suddenly saying that? Could it be because he's realised Queen Mon is super popular on the outside?

After Simon dumped Montana brutally just a few days ago, by telling her he fancied her best mate Amber (I mean, who does that?!?), Twitter responded furiously, with many users calling him a "snake" and one saying, "why is Simon kissing Montana if he's not attracted to her? Dickhead…"

However Si isn't just Mr bad guy, as he also said that he thinks his ex island bae Montana is in with a good shot of winning the show if she meets the right guy.

When asked who he thought would take the Love Island crown, he said: "Other than Marcel and Gabby who are a solid couple, I think Montana.

"She is such a nice a person, whoever gets her would be lucky. The best thing would be for the right guy to go in there, they both connect and I think she will go all the way definitely."

Who knows Simon, maybe that could have been you if you'd stayed loyal to our girl Mon. But you know what they say about karma…
